The U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP) administers workers' compensation programs under four federal Acts: the Federal Employees' Compensation Act (FECA), the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act (LHWCA), the Federal Black Lung Benefits Act (FBLBA), and the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICA). The OWCP Medical Fee Schedule applies to FECA, EEOICA and LHWCA; a modified version is used for the FBLBA.

To download or view the Fee Schedule you must first read and accept the AMA "License for Use of "Current Procedural Terminology", Fourth Edition ("CPT®")". The link to the license agreement is located at the bottom of this page.

The five-character codes included in the Office of Workers' Compensation Program Fee Schedule (the "Fee Schedule") are obtained from the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®), copyright 2023 by the American Medical Association (AMA). CPT is developed by the AMA as a listing of descriptive terms and five character identifying codes (to include Category II and III), and modifiers for reporting medical services and procedures performed by physicians.

The AMA does not directly or indirectly practice medicine or dispense medical services. The AMA assumes no liability for data contained or not contained herein. Any use of CPT outside of the Fee Schedule should refer to the most Current Procedural Terminology which contains the complete and most current listing of CPT codes and descriptive terms.
