ODEP hosts a Summit on Disability Employment Policy
On June 3 and 4, 2008, the Honorable Neil Romano, Assistant Secretary of the Office of Disability Employment Policy at the U.S. Department of Labor, convened more than 250 leaders representing businesses, non-profits, advocacy groups, academia, and Federal, state, and local agencies at Transforming the American Workplace: A 21st Century Vision, a Summit on disability employment policy.
The Summit brought attendees together to hear from more than 30 speakers and presenters about current trends transforming the American workplace, and to engage in a unique dialogue on how these trends can be leveraged to open doors of opportunity for individuals with disabilities.
