The Office of the Solicitor represents the Secretary of Labor and the program agencies of the Department of Labor in litigation, the development of regulations, standards and legislation and by providing the Secretary and program agencies legal opinions and advice. Therefore, while we will attempt to answer questions, the Office of the Solicitor cannot provide legal advice to members of the public. Furthermore, any contact with the Office of the Solicitor via the e-mail links on this Web page does not create or establish an attorney-client relationship between the Office of the Solicitor and a member of the public.
