U.S. Labor Department pairs town hall meetings, Traveling Resource Center
WASHINGTON The U.S. Department of Labor will visit Corpus Christi, San Antonio and Arlington, Texas, to provide information about the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA).
Through town hall meetings, officials will explain how certain uranium miners, uranium millers and ore transporters may qualify for federal compensation and medical benefits under Parts B and E of the EEOICPA. The department’s Traveling Resource Center personnel also will be available to help individuals interested in filing compensation claims.
