Outreach Event

Staff from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation’s (DEEOIC) Espanola Resource Center will be hosting Travelling Resource Centers in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Staff will be available to provide information about the program and assist individuals with the filing of new claims. All walk-ins are welcomed; however, scheduling an appointment time is recommended so that appropriate time and assistance can be provided.

Outreach Event

On June 16 and 17, 2015, officials from the Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC) will participate in two town hall meetings in Bridgeton, Missouri, to notify current and former nuclear weapons workers about the benefits available to them under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA). Survivors of qualified employees also may be entitled to benefits.

At the town hall meetings a DEEOIC representative will present an overview of Parts B and E of the EEOICPA. Representatives from the Joint Outreach Task Group, of which DEEOIC is a member, will also be presenting information. Once all presentations have concluded audience questions will be answered.

Staff from DEEOIC’s Denver district office and Paducah resource center will be available at the town hall meetings to assist individuals with the filing of new claims under the EEOICPA and to provide claimants with status updates on their existing EEOICPA claims.

On July 22, 2015, officials from the Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC) will host a traveling resource center in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, to provide the public with information about the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA) and the medical benefits provided under the program.

Staff will be available to assist individuals with the filing of new claims under the EEOICPA and to provide claimants with status updates on their existing EEOICPA claims.
