Outreach Event: Albany, Oregon! – Staff from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC) hosted an outreach event in Albany, Oregon, on Wednesday, August 24, 2016. DEEOIC staff gave a brief presentation about the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA) and the medical benefits available under the program that began at 9:00 a.m. After the presentation concluded, Seattle District Office and Hanford Resource Center staff were available to assist individuals with the filing of new claims under the EEOICPA and to provide claimants with status updates on their existing claims.
