Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC)
Outreach in Bridgeton, Missouri! – On March 29-30, 2016, staff from the Denver District Office and Paducah Resource Center hosted a two-day outreach event in Bridgeton, Missouri. The event was held at the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 513. Presentations each day included an overview of EEOICPA and information about medical benefits under the program. Staff was available to answer questions, assist individuals with the filing of new claims under the EEOICPA, and provide claimants with status updates on their existing claims. The event attracted 39 people, including employees of the Atomic Resource Coalition and a reporter with St. Louis Public Radio.
