Teleconferences for Medical Providers – Staff from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation’s National Office and Denver District Office hosted two teleconferences on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 and Thursday, September 8, 2016 to discuss medical benefits under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act. The teleconferences began with a brief 15-minute presentation on the types of medical services available under the program, which services require prior authorization, and how to obtain prior authorization. After the presentation concluded the phone lines were open for questions. The two-day teleconferences had an attendance of 67 participants.
