DFEC Central Mailroom – Status of Operations
Due to extreme weather conditions, the DFEC Central Mailroom in London, KY is operating with limited services. As a result, there may be a slight delay in processing documents received at this location.
As a reminder, allowable supporting documents may be uploaded to existing FECA case files using the Web-Enabled Document Submission (WEEDS) portion of OWCP’s Employees’ Compensation Operations and Management Portal (ECOMP). Information on allowable document types, instructions for uploading information to a case file and answers to frequently asked questions can be found at: https://www.ecomp.dol.gov/content/help/tutorial/index.html.
Please note that claims for reimbursement must be submitted through the central mailroom at U.S. Department of Labor, DFEC Central Mailroom, PO Box 8300, London, KY 40742-8300 and will not be accepted via electronic submission. Please note the claim number on every page of documents mailed to OWCP, send only single sided copies, and be sure to keep a copy for your records.
