OLMS Adds Union Officer and Employee Reports Form LM-30 to Web Site

The Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS) has added a searchable Union Officer and Employee Reports Form LM-30 function to the OLMS public disclosure Web site.

Every officer and every employee (other than an employee performing exclusively clerical or custodial functions) of a labor organization must file an Officer and Employee Report Form LM-30 if the individual, or his or her spouse or minor child, directly or indirectly, had certain economic interests during the past fiscal year.

Pursuant to the LMRDA, the U.S. Department of Labor is required to make all submitted reports available for public inspection. Individuals can examine the Form LM-30 reports at, and purchase copies from, the OLMS Public Disclosure Room in Room N-5608, 200 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20210-0001.

Now the Form LM-30 reports received for the year 2000 and after are available online. This easy-to-use interface allows the user to find reports by file number or search by name or labor organization. Form LM-30 reports received prior to 2000 can be ordered online.

OLMS continues to work to make filing and searching required reports easier and more efficient. For more information, please visit the OLMS Web site.
