Yvette Hoyt, Supervisory Investigator
Yvette Hoyt currently serves as the Supervisory Investigator for the New York District Office. Under the oversight of a district director, the OLMS supervisory investigator is responsible for leading a criminal and civil enforcement program within an OLMS field office, including shared responsibility to formulate annual office program, budgetary, and administrative operations plans, and monitor and evaluate the program work performed. Ms. Yvette Hoyt is a native of the Bronx, New York. During her academic career, she earned the following college degrees: A.A.S. in Paralegal studies from Bronx Community College in 1990; and B.A. in Government/Public Administration in May 1993 and M.P.A. in Public Policy in May 1995 from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. In June 1995, Ms. Hoyt began her federal career as a revenue officer in the Collection Division of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) located in Brooklyn, NY. After two years with the IRS, in October 1997 she became an investigator with the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS) in the New York District Office. During her investigative career with OLMS, in June 2014 she was promoted to Senior Investigator.
