Jena de Mers Raney, Regional Director
Jena de Mers Raney has been the Western Regional Director since October 2012. The OLMS regional director is responsible for leading a nationwide criminal and civil enforcement program within a broad geographic area. As regional director, she formulates annual regional program, budgetary, and administrative operations plans, and monitors and evaluates the program work conducted in three field offices with jurisdictions in eighteen states and three United States Territories. Before her appointment as regional director, Ms. Raney served OLMS as an investigator and a district director. Prior to coming to the Department of Labor she worked at the Department of Commerce Census Bureau as a field manager. Ms. Raney earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and a master’s degree from the University of Idaho.
