OFCCP Publishes the Newly Revised Federal Contract Compliance Manual (FCCM)
OFCCP is pleased to announce the publication and implementation of our newly revised Federal Contract Compliance Manual (FCCM). The newly revised FCCM provides OFCCP staff the procedural framework for executing quality and timely compliance evaluations and complaint investigations. It is a clearly and plainly written manual reflecting the current state of the law. The revisions help to ensure quality and consistency by creating uniformity in investigative procedures nationwide. It also provides transparency in the way compliance evaluations and complaint investigations are conducted. The newly revised FCCM is easy to navigate and provides effective guidance to both OFCCP compliance officers and federal contractors.
OFCCP Blog: Promoting Opportunity for Veterans and Workers With Disabilities
For four decades, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act have prohibited employment discrimination on the basis of disability or veteran status. Today, Vice President Biden announced the department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs’ Final Rules will strengthen these civil rights laws to create more economic opportunity for veterans and people with disabilities.
