Today, the Department of Labor will announce $8.1 million in capacity-building grants, Enhancing the Ability of Community- and Faith-Based Organizations to Deliver Virtual Career Exploration Services, Including Healthcare Careers, supported by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. These projects are designed to provide healthcare training and virtual service-delivery models (i.e. web-based services) to promote career opportunities in the healthcare sector.
