Dear Texas Congressional Staff:
Here is information about a National Emergency Grant (NEG) that is being awarded to your state to serve approximately 500 workers affected by layoffs at multiple construction and manufacturing companies in central and southeast Texas.
Description of NEG
- DOL has approved an award of up to $2,201,214 with $1,021,902 released initially to the Central Texas Workforce Board, to be funded by resources made available for NEGs under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
