Regional Office Continuity

The Regional Continuity Program supports the Department of Labor's (DOL) overarching Continuity Program by providing important continuity planning and outreach to DOL personnel outside of the National Capital Region. Regional continuity plans contain preparedness and response information for emergencies that may impact the safety and security of regional office personnel and/or facilities and limit our ability to perform regional essential functions.

Through collaboration with the Emergency Management Center (EMC) and the regional agencies, the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM) Regional Continuity Coordinators lead regional continuity planning efforts for all DOL personnel with primary duty locations within the jurisdiction of that OASAM regional office. Regional continuity planning is a collaborative process involving valuable input and support from regional agencies for inclusion into the consolidated and cohesive Regional Continuity Plans that comply with federal continuity requirements and continuity planning "best practices."
