Benefits Use for Term Employees
The Department of Labor (DOL) offers a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees. Some employees on Term Appointments will be eligible for the defined benefit and contribution plans and some will not. This will be determined by any previous Federal service that you may have had. All term appointees are eligible for health benefits, supplemental dental and vision plans, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, long-term care insurance, sick leave, vacation leave and paid holidays.
