Benefits Temporary Interns
The Department of Labor (DOL) offers a great benefit package to eligible employees. Generally, students hired as temporary Interns are not entitled to health and life insurance benefits unless they have been continuously employed for more than one year, after which they may become eligible for such benefits. The benefit package includes but is not limited to 13 days paid sick leave per year, vacation leave and 10 paid holidays per year.
