To announce the release and availability of an ETA Occasional Paper titled Evaluation of School District-Based Strategies for Reducing Youth Involvement in Gangs and Violent Crime: Final Report

To provide technical assistance to states, local workforce areas, and other recipients of WIOA Title I youth formula funds to help address the needs of disconnected youth.

To provide guidance to the workforce system on providing services under the Adult and Dislocated Worker programs under WIOA Title I, and individuals served by Wagner Peyser, as amended by WIOA Title III, beginning July 1, 2015. This guidance also includes clarifications and flexibilities on using these funds and guidance to States for making sub-state allocations with Adult, Youth, and Dislocated Worker formula funds.

To advise state workforce agencies of the provisions of the Claims Resolution Act of 2010, P.L. 111-291, and the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010, P.L. 111-312, that affect the federal-state unemployment compensation (UC) program.

To provide states with operating, financial, and reporting instructions for the FPUC program authorized by Section 2104, Emergency Increase in Unemployment Compensation Benefits, of the CARES Act of 2020, Public Law (Pub. L.) 116-136.

The purpose of this guidance is to communicate the Employment and Training Administration's (ETA) waiver policy for PY 2015 for Workforce Investment Act (WIA) waivers currently approved for many states. This guidance addresses the status of such waivers during Program Year (PY) 2015, when most provisions of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) go into effect. This guidance also communicates ETA's position on waivers under WIOA.

To provide adjusted funding levels for Program Year (PY) 2010 allotments for the Dislocated Worker program under WIA Title I Section 132(c) on recapture and reallotment.

To provide states with operating, financial, and reporting instructions for the PUA program authorized by Section 2102 of the CARES Act of 2020, Public Law (Pub. L.) 116-136.

To provide updated information and technical assistance to the public workforce investment system in meeting their nondiscrimination and universal access obligations for individuals with disabilities. (This is a WIOA related advisory.)

To advise State Workforce Agencies of their responsibilities under the HCTC program after the expiration of the provisions of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act) that temporarily expanded the HCTC.
