Increase in Mileage Reimbursement Rate
To inform grantees of an increase in mileage reimbursement rate for privately owned automobiles used for JTPA grant purposes.

The General Services Administration is required by law to periodically investigate the cost of operating privately owned vehicles to employees while on official travel and report the results of these investigations to Congress. Action. Effective July 1, 1991, grantees are authorized to increase the mileage reimbursement rate from 24 cents to 25 cents per mile for use of privately owned automobiles for approved JTPA grant purposes.
