OCFT has contracted ICF to conduct impact evaluations using randomized controlled trials to assess the effectiveness of specific interventions of OCFT-funded projects in reducing child labor in Bolivia and Egypt. ICF works with project staff to identify an appropriate experimental design to assess the impact of the interventions of interest; conducts power analyses and develops the study samples; and works with local firms in-country for data collection and data entry. Potential project beneficiaries are randomly assigned into intervention and control groups. Data were collected on individuals in the intervention and control groups and the members of their families using quantitative household surveys.
