Consular Partnership Program

All workers in the United States, regardless of their immigration status, have the right to a safe and healthful workplace and full payment of wages earned under federal law. The Consular Partnership Program, a collaboration between the Department of Labor and foreign embassies and consulates, was developed to educate workers and their employers about vital information on lawful payment of wages and workplace safety and health.

Embassies and consulates offer safe, trusted places for workers to turn. With their cooperation, we can better do our job to educate workers and employers about workplace safety, provide confidential help and advice, and uphold respect for labor standards on behalf of the nation's workforce.
