Excellence in Disability Inclusion Award

The U.S. Department of Labor is committed to ensuring America’s workforce is driven by the skills and talents of all people. Many federal contractors – those who do business with the federal government – also have the responsibility to take proactive steps to recruit, hire, retain, and advance qualified people with disabilities under Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act.

The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and the Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) have partnered to create the Excellence in Disability Inclusion (EDI) Award to recognize federal contractors who excel in meeting their responsibilities under Section 503 and exemplify the spirit of disability inclusion.

The 2019 application process is now underway. Interested federal contractors can click the Apply Now button to get started.

Please submit your completed nomination package to OFCCP-EDIaward@dol.gov following the instructions on the nomination form by Saturday, August 31, 2019. Questions about the award or nomination process may also be sent to OFCCP-EDIaward@dol.gov.
