Break Time for Nursing Mothers: Guidance for Employers and Advocates

A free  compliance assistance webinar to help employers and advocates understand the Break Time for Nursing Mothers provision of the FLSA.  Federal law requires employers to provide reasonable break time for an employee to express breast milk for her nursing child for one year after the child's birth each time such employee has need to express the milk. Employers are also required to provide a place, other than a bathroom, that is shielded from view and free from intrusion from coworkers and the public, which may be used by an employee to express breast milk.

This free webinar will help employers understand their obligations under the law, and will equip advocates with resources and tools to assist mothers who wish to continue breastfeeding after returning to work.

Meeting details will be emailed after registration is confirmed.
