The U.S. Department of Labor's Women's Bureau is continuously evaluating ways to help American women enter and grow within the workforce. A key constituency identified is military spouses. Military spouses bring a diverse set of skills to the labor force, making many sacrifices to protect our country and ensure prosperity, while also contributing to our nation's economy. As a result, the Women's Bureau has taken strategic steps to provide assistance and address issues that may prevent military spouses from entering the workforce or grow their careers.

To help you better communicate on this important issue, we have created this Meeting in a Box.

The Meeting in a Box concept is a communication resource for our stakeholders. It is a way for the Women's Bureau to share important information about what we are doing, while also providing messaging tools for your use. The Meeting in a Box includes a presentation slide deck with notes, a fact sheet, and talking points. It is a resource for you that provides the necessary tools to conduct a meeting, include valuable information in speeches, or incorporate important messages as part of a meeting presentation. These tools can be used as stand-alone pieces, or in combination, depending on the audience and setting.
