The U.S. Department of Labor's Women's Bureau is continuously evaluating ways to help American women enter and grow within the workforce. With the United States economy thriving, job creation continuing to grow at a rapid pace, and unemployment rate at historic lows, our nation’s businesses are facing a tight labor market. In line with the Administration’s broader efforts, the Women’s Bureau works to advance and expand apprenticeship opportunities for women to help them enter and grow in careers in all sectors and industries.

To help you better communicate on this important issue, we have created this Meeting in a Box.

The Meeting in a Box concept is a communication resource for our stakeholders. It is a way for the Women's Bureau to share important information about what we are doing, while also providing messaging tools for your use. The Meeting in a Box includes a presentation slide deck with notes, a fact sheet, and talking points. It is a resource for you that provides the necessary tools to conduct a meeting, include valuable information in speeches, or incorporate important messages as part of a meeting presentation. These tools can be used as stand-alone pieces, or in combination, depending on the audience and setting.
