A research brief on the findings from a study aimed measuring migration costs borne by domestic workers from Indonesia and the Philippines in Malaysia. The study was supported by the Protecting the Rights of Migrant Domestic Workers and Plantation Workers through Improved Labour Migration Governance project (funded by the U.S. Department of State), the Protocol to Practice: A Bridge to Global Action on Forced Labor project (The Bridge Project), and the Safe and Fair Programme as part of the Spotlight Initiative.
