Boilerplates are templates that an organization can use and customize to develop their National Guidelines for Apprenticeship Standards, National Program Standards or local Apprenticeship Program Standards. The templates contain the required elements that an organization must include in their program's standards of apprenticeship.
Which Boilerplate is right for me?
To find the right Boilerplate, you must consider (a) how many employers will participate in your Registered Apprenticeship program, and (b) whether any intermediaries will be involved, such as a labor organization or a community-based organization. Consider the following:
"My program will have..." | One employer | Two or more employers |
No intermediaries | "Single Employer" Program | "Employer Consortia" Program |
One or more intermediaries | "Jointly-Managed Single Employer" Program | "Jointly Managed with Multiple Employers" Program |
