Stephen J. Willertz, Director
Stephen J. Willertz serves as the Director of the Office of Field Operations (OFO). The OFO director supervises the regional directors and provides executive-level leadership and direction for OLMS field program operations nationwide. Mr. Willertz began his career with OLMS as a labor investigator in 1987 in the Washington District Office. Subsequently, he served as a supervisory investigator and district director in the same office. From November 2005 until August 2008, Mr. Willertz served as a regional director, leading first the Ohio-Potomac Region (Cincinnati, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Washington District Offices) and then the Southern Region (Atlanta, Dallas, Nashville, New Orleans, and Washington District Offices). In 2008, he was named Director of the OLMS Office of Enforcement and International Union Audits (OEIUA). In 2012, Mr. Willertz was named to his current position. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a Master’s degree from Rutgers University.
