Deborah Becker

Deborah M. Becker was appointed Chief, Division of Planning, Management and Technology (DPMT), within OLMS, in June 2010. The DPMT chief provides expertise and leadership within OLMS for the planning, development, management, and evaluation of a wide range of administrative and management initiatives, including (1) IT planning, evaluation, and systems support; (2) budget, financial planning and evaluation;  (3) direction of internal control activities; (4) management analysis and improvement; and (5) liaison for administrative services and personnel requirements.   Ms. Becker joined the Department of Labor through the now dissolved Employment Standards Administration (ESA).  While in ESA, she oversaw the office providing administrative policy and direction for thousands of ESA employees.  Deborah joined OLMS in November 2009 as a special assistant in the Office of the Director.  She represented OLMS on the DOL Emergency Management Work Group, and served as the OLMS Continuity of Operations (COOP) coordinator and Records Manager and EEO Officer.Earlier in her career, Ms. Becker served as an Administrative Officer for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in DC, and worked for the International Justice Mission, and the U.S. Department of Education.
