What Others are Saying:

  • Megatrends described the 'parentheses' period of transition from industrial to high tech.  Predicted the need for employers to invest in employee education and the industrial worker to invest in personal high tech education.    It appears that employers hired high tech workers instead for educating the employed workforce.  The message did not reach the manufacturing workforce who are now scrambling for skills, work, unemployment and EUC benefits.
