US Labor Department’s Wage and Hour Division to sign agreement of understanding with Mexican Consulate in Portland, Ore., Aug. 22
Alliance will educate employers and workers in Oregon about labor laws
PORTLAND, Ore. -- The U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division and the Mexican Consulate in Portland will sign an agreement of understanding on Wednesday, Aug. 22. The purpose of the agreement is to combine resources and coordinate efforts to inform employers about the laws enforced by the Labor Department and to educate Mexican nationals working in Oregon about their rights under these laws.
