New Orleans employers, advocacy groups to participate in free US Labor Department informational and outreach forum on June 9
Workshop topics include wages, pension, health benefits and job safety
NEW ORLEANS -- The U.S. Department of Labor will host a free informational and outreach forum at the University of New Orleans on June 9 for area employers and advocacy groups.
Workshops will focus on many programs offered through the department related to wages, pension protection, job safety, equal employment opportunity and veteransí re-employment rights.
Regional administrators and their representatives from the various department agencies presenting workshops will be available to the press.

WHEN: Wednesday, June 9 Workshops will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. CDT Registration will open at 8 a.m. CDT
