Welcome to the Women's Bureau, Region III Web page. The headquarters for the Regional Office is in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Regional office provides services to women living in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. The Region is a combination of large metropolitan areas, urban, and rural expanses.

This Mid-Atlantic region includes the First State, Delaware and home of the Nation's Capitol and White House in Washington, D.C. The economic mainstay is from diverse service industries that include agriculture, banking, farming, fisheries, government and manufacturing, all of which employee a number of women. A large percentage of the jobs are white collar.
