Welcome to the Women's Bureau, Region I Web page. The headquarters for the Regional Office is in Boston, Massachusetts. The Regional office provides services to women living in the six New England States of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. The Region is a combination of large urban areas, small towns, and rural expanses.
The New England States host a diversity of industries including banking/finance, biotechnology, education, farming, fishing, health care, manufacturing, and high-tech. Women are employed in many of these diverse industries.
