Question: How do I become qualified for a nontraditional job?

There are a variety of opportunities for women who are interested in pursuing a nontraditional job. Depending on the type of job, you can get training through local union shops, or through trade and vocational schools, even through employers who have apprenticeship programs and on the job training programs. Check with your local One-Stop Centers for postings on job openings for these types of jobs. View a listing of One-Stop Centers in your community.
