Susan Garcia is a Wi$e Up mentor in Charleston, SC. She has her own real estate firm and is a realtor with Prudential Carolina Real Estate. Prior to entering the real estate field, she and her husband built a career management consulting firm in Charlotte, NC, and they ultimately sold it to an international career management consulting firm. Susan’s business background spans more than 25 years of business development and human resources experience. She has appeared on the syndicated TV show Woman-To-Woman, has been interviewed by Charlie Rose in discussions on dual career couples, and has been quoted on the effects of job loss in the book “When Smart People Fail” by Carole Hyatt and Linda Gottlieb.

Randi K. Grant, a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Financial Planner, and Personal Financial Specialist, is the Director of Taxation and Personal Financial Planning for Berkowitz, Dick, Pollack & Brant, CPAs, LLP, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. An experienced accountant and financial planner with more than 20 years of experience, she provides tax and financial planning for individuals and closely-held companies. She has been quoted on various topics by such publications as The Miami Herald, Fortune magazine, Investor’s Business Daily, and Business Week. Ms. Grant also lectures to professional, business and civic organizations regarding tax and personal financial planning matters.

Ellen Hoffman is a freelance writer, author, and speaker specializing in retirement and personal finance issues. A former Washington Post reporter, Ellen has appeared on NBC’s “Today Show,” CNBC, Fox News and numerous other radio and television shows and has had articles published in Reader’s Digest, Individual Investor, Kiplinger Retirement Report, and many other national publications. She is the retirement columnist for Business Week Online and a frequent contributor to Business Week magazine. In April 2005, Michelle Singletary, The Washington Post’s personal finance columnist, chose Ellen’s book The Retirement Catch-Up Guide as the selection of the month for Michelle’s Color of Money book club.
