The Newark Fire — Orange and High Streets, Newark, NJ

Four months to the day earlier, scene of a tragic factory fire that claimed 25 lives, many of whom jumped to their death. New York’s fire chief warned a similar fire could easily happen in New York City, with even more lives lost.
