Outreach Event

In November 2014, staff from the U.S. Department of Laborís Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensationís (DEEOIC) Espanola Resource Center will be hosting Traveling Resource Center events in Los Alamos, N.M. Staff from the resource center will be available to provide information about the program and assist individuals with the filing of new claims. All walk-ins are welcomed; however, scheduling an appointment time is recommended so that appropriate time and assistance can be provided.

Outreach Event

On October 21 and 22, 2014, officials from the Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC) will participate in two town hall meetings in Paducah, Kentucky, to notify current and former nuclear weapons workers about the benefits available to them under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA). Survivors of qualified employees also may be entitled to benefits.

At the town hall meetings a DEEOIC representative will present an overview of Parts B and E of the EEOICPA. Representatives from the Joint Outreach Task Group, of which DEEOIC is a member, will also be presenting information. Once all presentations have concluded audience questions will be answered.

Staff from DEEOICís Jacksonville district office and Paducah resource center will also be available at the town hall meetings to assist individuals with the filing of new claims under the EEOICPA and to provide claimants with status updates on their existing EEOICPA claims.

On October 22, 2014, officials from the Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC) will host a town hall meeting in Paducah, Kentucky, to discuss the medical benefits provided to accepted claimants under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA). During this meeting specific information will be discussed concerning home health care services and how to better serve EEOICPA claimants.

Staff from DEEOICís Jacksonville district office and Paducah resource center will also be available at the town hall meeting to assist individuals with the filing of new claims under the EEOICPA and to provide claimants with status updates on their existing EEOICPA claims.

On October 23, 2014, officials from the Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC) will host two roundtable meetings to discuss the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA) and the medical benefits provided under the program. Discussion will include specific information concerning home health care services and how to better serve EEOICPA claimants.

The roundtable meetings are for physicians and home health care providers only. If you are a physician or home health care provider, and are interested in attending, please contact DEEOICís Paducah resource center toll-free at (866) 534-0599 no later than Friday, October 17, 2014.
