Process
lDuring the first 30 days
–The nurse determines whether the physician has formulated
a treatment plan and whether the claimant’s physical
condition is improving.
–Once a plan is formulated, the nurse monitors the physical
progress of the claimant and obtains a return to work date from the
physician, when appropriate.
