Steve Cooper and Robert Masterson have been named to serve on the Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health (ACCSH), the U.S. Labor Department's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) announced today.

Cooper, executive director, occupational safety and health, of the International Association of Bridge, Structural and Ornamental Ironworkers, will complete a two-year term ending in September 1997. He serves as an employee representative and is replacing John Moran who resigned when he accepted a position at the Department of Energy.

Masterson is manager of safety and loss control for The Ryland Group and will serve a two-year term, also ending in September 1997, as an employer representative. He is filling the vacancy created by the departure of Theodore E. Webster who recently resigned from the committee.

The 15-member advisory committee advises OSHA on standards and policies designed to protect construction workers from workplace hazards. ACCSH consists of five representatives each of employers and employees, two representatives of state government, two public representatives and one federal representative.

Notice of the two new appointments is scheduled to appear in the Sept. 22, 1995 Federal Register.
