The National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and
Health (NACOSH) will meet on Feb. 14-15 the Occupational Safety and Health
Administration (OSHA) has announced.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will run from
8:30 a.m. to 12 noon on Feb. 14 and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 15. NACOSH will
meet in Room N3437 of the Frances Perkins Building at 200 Constitution Ave.
N.W., Washington, D.C.
The committee will consider focused inspections in general
industry, outreach activities, development and dissemination of National
Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) documents, environmental
justice and OSHA-related activities of the Bureau of Labor Statistics. In
addition, OSHA and NIOSH will review recent activities and the committee will
hear reports from work groups on data and new strategies.
Written data, views or comments may be submitted,
preferably with 20 copies, to Joanne Goodell, Directorate of Policy, Room N-
3641, 200 Constitution Ave. N.W., Washington, D.C. 20210. Submissions received
prior to the meeting will be provided to committee members and included in the
meeting records. An official record of the meeting will be available for public
inspection at OSHA's Division of Consumer Affairs.
Anyone wishing to make an oral presentation should notify
Joanne Goodell before the meeting. The request should state the amount of time
desired, the capacity in which the person will appear and a brief outline of
the content of the presentation. Persons who request the opportunity to address
the committee may be allowed to speak, as time permits, at the discretion of
the committee chair.
