"Over the past year, the President has said that he will
sign a responsible comp time bill. Today's cloture vote demonstrates that we
are not there yet. I urge senators of both parties to work together to pass a
bill that protects workers and gives them the ability to earn comp time to use
when they need it. The President's bill is a good place to start."
