I've said it before and I'll say it one last time, officially: America has never seen a Goldilocks economic recovery like this. Not too hot. Not too cold. Just right.

The economy closed out the year with strong, steady job growth and continued low unemployment.

The addition of more than a quarter-million jobs in December brings the total number of new jobs created during this Administration to 11.2 million. Job growth remains strong in the service and retail sectors, defying the gloom and doomers who warned that increasing the minimum wage would destroy jobs. Overall, wages continue to rise without signs of accelerating inflation, meaning that American workers are finally getting the raise they deserve.
