The Labor Department and its union, local 12 of the American Federation of Government Employees, will present a musical play --"Martin Luther King, Jr.: A Dream or A Nightmare?" -- in celebration of Black History Month.

The hour-long play, in three acts, will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28 in the Great Hall of the Department of Labor, 200 Constitution Ave. NW.

The production will be a retrospective on the dramatic episodes of Dr. King's life, portrayed by a cast of Labor Department employees. The play was written by Kenneth Wilson of the DOL Academy, the department's employee education and training facility.

Students from Alice Deal, T.C. Williams, Ballou and Springbrook senior high schools, Hyattsville Middle School and Hart Junior High School have been invited to attend. The play also is open to the public and is free.
