Introduction of the “Family Time Flexibility Act”
WASHINGTON—U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao issued the
following statement today about the introduction of the “Family Time
Flexibility Act”:
“Congresswoman Judy Biggert’s introduction today of
legislation to expand access to flexible working arrangements demonstrates her
commitment to America’s working families.”
“Employees in the public sector have enjoyed the benefits of
‘family time’ for 15 years. The legislation introduced today will
help all working people better balance the obligations of their jobs and
families.”
