Statement of U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao on
Introduction of “The Family Time and Workplace Flexibility Act”
WASHINGTON—U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao issued the
following statement today about the introduction of “The Family Time and
Workplace Flexibility Act”:
“Senator Judd Gregg is to be commended for his leadership and
commitment to advancing family time legislation and helping America’s
workers have more flexible schedules. The legislation introduced today, when we
mark the 10th anniversary of the FMLA, is another significant step
toward helping working people better balance their work and home
lives.”
