U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao Comments on
Judge’s Decision on the West Coast Ports Dispute
WASHINGTON—U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao issued
the following statement today:
“The Administration is gratified by the judge’s decision to
grant the government’s request today to reopen the West Coast ports. This
will get the ports functioning normally again, help our nation’s economy,
and protect jobs, farmers, and American consumers.”
