ERISA ADVISORY COUNCIL TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETINGS IN
NOVEMBER

The Secretary of Labor's Advisory Council on Employee Welfare and Pension Benefit Plans and its work groups will hold meetings Nov. 7-8 at the U. S. Department of Labor, 200 Constitution Ave., N. W., Washington, D. C. 20210.
The pension education and real estate investment work groups will meet at 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively, on Nov. 7. The defined contribution adequacy work group will meet at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 8. All work group meetings will be held in Room N-3437 A-B.
The work groups' final recommendations for their areas of study will be presented at a meeting of the full council at 1 p.m. in Room S2508 on Nov. 8.
Individuals or organizations who want to address the council should submit a written request before Oct. 30 to Sharon Morrissey, acting executive secretary, ERISA Advisory Council, U. S. Department of Labor, Room N-5677, 200 Constitution Ave., N. W., Washington, D. C., 20210. Oral presentations are limited to 10 minutes but witnesses may submit an extended statement for the record. Individuals with disabilities who need special accommodations should contact Mrs. Morrissey before Oct. 30 at the above address.
Members of the public who do not want to testify may also submit 20 copies of their statement to the above address.
The advisory council is a bipartisan group of 15 members appointed by the secretary of labor to represent a wide range of interests in the employee benefits area. The council advises and makes recommendations to the secretary on the administration of ERISA.
