Webinar on Completing the Form LM-30
The Department of Labor's Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS) is offering a free webinar on completing the Form LM-30 (Labor Organization Officer and Employee Report). The Form LM-30 is a report filed by union officers and union employees to make public actual or potential conflicts between their personal financial interests and their obligations to the union and its members. The report is due 90 days after the union official’s fiscal year, meaning that the report is due for most filers at the end of March. More information on the Form LM-30 is available here.
The webinar will be held on February 14, 2012, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM EST. It is open to all interested individuals. During this free webinar, OLMS staff will provide guidance on applying the Form LM-30 reporting requirements, including how to determine if a report is owed and how to complete the form. The Form LM-30 was recently changed in a final rule published on October 26, 2011, making this webinar essential for both new and returning filers.
If you have any questions about this webinar, call (202) 693-0123 or email OLMS-Public@dol.gov.
